How a drop works

Every Thursday at 6:00 PM, we lower the price on a selection of items. The selection is predetermined, the quantity is fixed, and once it's gone, it's gone. That's the entire mechanism—there's no fine print beneath it.

Always Thursday 6:00 PM

Same day, same time, every week. You don't need to monitor the site the rest of the week to be sure you didn't miss anything. What happens in a drop happens on Thursday, and nowhere else.

A Fixed Quantity

Each item in the drop has a quantity, and the quantity is shown on the page before you buy. We display it as a counter with one bar per item, so you can see how much is left without asking us. How to read the counter.

The Drop is the Only Place Where a Price Drops

No other area on the site lowers a price. No promotional weeks, no interim sales, no codes lying around in a newsletter. If you see a reduced price with us, you are in a drop, and if you are not in a drop, the price is the regular one. This is why we don't send discount codes.

When It's Gone

When the counter hits zero, the item returns to its regular price. We do not restock mid-week to extend a drop, and we do not extend a drop because it went well. Next Thursday will feature a new selection.

If you would like a reminder before 6:00 PM, you can sign up for it. That's the only thing we send.
